Branch Manager

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational functions of the organization and ensures operational excellence by implementing efficient systems, processes, and best practices across departments. This person in this position works closely with the President/CEO and executive leadership team to develop and execute strategic plans that align with the organization's goals, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.Responsibilities of the General Manager include the following:1. Review reports of any misconduct, suspicious or unethical activities received from the Compliance Officer.2. Direct, manage, and oversee daily operations of the company to ensure alignment with organizational goals.3. Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with federal, state, and accreditation requirements (e.g., CMS, DMEPOS accreditation standards).4. Provide leadership to department heads, fostering collaboration across departments including finance, human resources, clinical services, logistics, and customer service.5. Oversee budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation in partnership with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).6. Ensure customer satisfaction and service excellence through quality assurance programs and process improvement initiatives.7. Lead strategic initiatives to support company growth, scalability, and innovation.8. Collaborate with compliance and regulatory teams to ensure all operational activities meet industry standards and company policies.9. Develop risk management strategies to mitigate operational and business risks.10. Support recruitment, development, and retention of key personnel.11. Report directly to the CEO on operational performance, challenges, and opportunities.12. Organizing and directing the organization’s ongoing operations to ensure the availability and provision of care and services.13. Implementing leadership directives and organizational policies and procedures .14. Develop and execute long-term business plans and strategies in alignment with the company’s objectives.15. Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.16. Implement and monitor operational processes and systems to optimize productivity and reduce costs.17. Address and resolve operational issues promptly and effectively.18. Collaborate with other employees to achieve organizational goals.19. Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and meetings.20. Maintain ongoing liaison with all employees in order to obtain their cooperation toward the achievement of the goals of the company.21. Ensure ongoing company compliance with all laws and regulations, ensure that the company meets or exceeds accreditation standards, and implement best practices.22. Delegate authority as necessary to ensure that all responsibilities of this position and all company operations are fulfilled in a timely and accurate manner.23. Participate in surveys conducted by authorized inspection agencies. Initiate appropriate actions on reports and recommendations provided by authorized inspection agencies.24. Establish the scope of, and participate in, as appropriate, committees of the company.25. Participate in training / education programs provided by the company.26. Participate in continuing education programs appropriate to this position and maintain current knowledge of government regulations and industry best practices.27. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.Minimum Qualifications1. Degree in Management or equivalent experience2. Ability to organize and plan the activities of subordinates, and to delegate appropriately.3. Experience in the industry.4. Proven track record of successfully leading teams and managing operations.5. Strong leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making skills.6. Excellent financial acumen and analytical abilities.7. Proficiency in business management software and Microsoft Office Suite.8. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.9. Ability to evaluate options and to make efficient decisions.10. Organizational skills are sufficient to maintain consistently accurate records.11.
