Job Title: Assembler (1st Shift) ($20.00/hr.)

Job Description

Join our dynamic team in the filters department where you will be involved in assembling and preparing filters for shipping. This role requires strong hand-eye coordination and involves repetitive tasks such as grinding, sanding, mixing, wrapping, and painting. You will also assist in other departments as needed, including the press operator department, and perform bench work, building, and repairing pumps. We are looking for individuals to start as soon as possible. We offer weekly pay with overtime paying time and a half. Apply Today!

Responsibilities

• Work in the filters department to assemble filters.
• Perform bench work, including building and repairing pumps.
• Conduct grinding, sanding, mixing, wrapping, and painting tasks.
• Assist in other departments as needed.
• Pack and prepare filters for shipping from automated machines.
• Assist in the press operator department when not assembling filters.
• Set up and prepare equipment, tools, and materials for daily production.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Communicate production status, issues, or improvements with supervisors and team members.
• Document production data, materials used, or completed work as required.
• Process mesh fabric into finished products.
• Use micrometers and calipers for precision measurements.
• Perform slitting and stapling tasks.
• Follow work instructions meticulously.
• Stage orders and assist in shipping as needed.
• Operate press machines, vertical presses, slitters, and expanders.
• Work with 10 plate steel and wire mesh.
• Utilize basic math skills for measuring.
• Remove rolls and place rolls into machines.
• Assist in performing set-ups and change-overs on machines.

Essential Skills

• Previous manufacturing experience.
• Ability to lift 30 lbs.
• Experience using hand tools.
• Experience reading work instructions.
• Ability to perform documentation and quality checks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Machine operator skills.
• Packaging experience.
• Machine set-up experience.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Aurora, OH.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
