How you'll contribute:
- Provide daily level 3 support to helpdesk support team for Windows Server and Desktop infrastructure.
- Manage backup schedules in Commvault application with the ability to periodically restore from backups as needed.
- Perform monthly patch management of Windows Servers - install patches as needed and reboots servers based on patch management schedule.
- Perform other preventative maintenance to systems as needed.
- Periodically perform inventory analysis and validate that PC's and Servers meet IT security and operational standards.
- Installs and maintains PC's and Servers as requested.
- Manages print and fax servers and services.
- Participates in the evaluation and selection process of new software and hardware.
- Uses service desk system to manage ticket lifecycle.
- Thoroughly documents and closes tickets in a timely manner.
- Oversees organization wide asset tracking by correlating assets to configuration items in service desk system.
- Assist in the development of departmental run books for supported systems.
- Work with hospital support center and 3rd party vendors as needed to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
- Perform in local security coordinator capacity by creating, managing, and deprovisioning user accounts in all supported applications.
- Assist with managing Citrix Infrastructure and virtual application delivery.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of applications, systems, and hardware platforms.

What we're looking for:
Applicants should be self-motivated/self-directed and able to meet deadlines. Able to work in a fast-paced environment, problem-solve, and handle stress in a positive manner. Is familiar with organization and functions of each hospital department. Leadership ability, integrity and initiative. Maintain harmonious relationships with nursing personnel, medical staff, hospital administration and all departments.
- Minimum Education: Associate degree in Information Systems or Computer Science preferred.
- CompTIA, Cisco, and ITIL certifications preferred
- Work Experience: 2 years' experience in an information systems position; extensive knowledge of Windows desktop and server administration.
- Prefer experience in healthcare environment.
- Prefer experience with computer repair and/or computer Help Desk support.
