Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist (OT) in Devils Lake, North Dakota. This position involves evaluating and providing treatment to inpatients and/or outpatients in a clinical setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role demands collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to develop patient care plans and discharge strategies, along with patient and family education.

Job Details:

  • Location: Devils Lake, North Dakota
  • Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Licensure as an Occupational Therapist with the North Dakota State Board of Occupational Therapy, over 2 years of experience, Certification as an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, Driver's License with an acceptable driving record, and prior to start date.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Additional Information: The Occupational Therapist is responsible for patient evaluation and treatment, patient education, coordination of treatment plans, and clinical supervision of occupational therapy assistants in accordance with state licensure and standards. Responsibilities include monitoring treatment effectiveness, documenting patient care, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
