The ideal candidate will be compassionate, detail-oriented, and collaborative, with a commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.ResponsibilitiesAs a Podiatric Physician at Neuhaus Foot & Ankle, you will:Provide comprehensive podiatric services in a clinic setting and maintain hospital staff privileges as requiredEvaluate patients' lower extremity concerns through physical exams, medical history review, and diagnostic testingDevelop and implement treatment plans, including surgical and non-surgical interventionsProvide wound care, trauma management, and preventive at-risk foot carePerform surgical services aligned with your scope, training, and experienceEducate patients and families on foot health, prevention, wellness care, and treatment plansMaintain accurate and compliant medical documentation per state and NFA standardsPrescribe medications and order imaging or labs as permitted by Tennessee lawParticipate in continuing education and stay current with best practicesCollaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure seamless patient careQualificationsDoctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree with appropriate certification and licensureActive Tennessee podiatry license, or ability to obtain within required timeframeBoard Qualified or Board Certified by ABPM (American Board of Podiatric Medicine) and/or ABFAS (American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery)Strong compassion for patients and their families, with excellent bedside mannerDEA registration (or eligibility) requiredExcellent oral and written communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and care teamsWhy Join Neuhaus Foot & AnkleAt NFA, you'll be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking organization with a clear mission: delivering exceptional patient experiences while fostering growth and professional fulfillment for our team.As we expand our services and locations, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of podiatric care in Middle Tennessee, with the support of a dedicated operations team and a pathway to leadership and partnership.
