Mercy Hospital Logan County is a 25 bed Critical Access Hospital located in Guthrie, Oklahoma providing care to Emergency, Observation, Inpatient and Swing patients. Our unit Patient/Nurse ratio is 5:1. Nursing staff work closely with the Therapy department to provide coordinated, excellent care to facilitate the highest level of return to pre-hospitalization lifestyle.
Position Details:
- Department: Emergency Department
- Status: Full-Time, 36 hours per week
- Shift: Nights, 7pm-7am
- Rotating weekends and holidays
- Sign-on bonus available: $10,000 for new grads, up to $20,000 for experienced nurses!
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
- Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
- Experience: None required, new graduate nurses accepted. Emergency Department experience preferred.
- Physical requirements/demands: Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis. Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift. Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
- Required Certifications (training provided by Mercy during the orientation period if not already certified):
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- Other unit specific certifications as required or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe.
