Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, knowledgeable and hard-working employee for one of the top retail wine shop/wine bar in the bay area. You are passionate about wine and happy to help customers in purchasing their favorites as well as discovering new ones. You will work in a strong team environment with the opportunity to contribute to all aspects of the business. Compensation starting out hourly plus tip sharing and annual bonus. There will be the opportunity to convert to a fixed salary. We are big on customer service with a focus on being approachable and relaxed. We're about good wine, not about being fancy. Job Duties & Responsibilities:• Assisting customers in-store with wine selection and purchases
• General POS use
• Merchandising, moving cases and stocking shelves
• Pulling & packing orders for online sales
• General cleaning and organizing
• Bartending (wine only) Requirements for Consideration:
• Nights & weekend hours availability
• Able to lift ~50lbs (case of wine)
• Good general wine knowledge
