As a Maintenance Technician II, you will leverage your skills to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. You will have the opportunity to install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, repair, and maintain material handling equipment such as conveyors.

• Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.

• Perform battery changes and preventive maintenance on batteries.

• Enter downtime data in daily logs and complete PM sheets.

• Manage work orders within a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).

• Apply electrical knowledge to troubleshoot and identify problems with equipment.

• Track and store the department's inventory, including spare parts.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of experience conducting quality predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.

• 2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment (MHE) or automated conveyor systems and controls.

• 2+ years of experience with blueprint and electrical schematic reading.

• Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles with 2+ years of experience.

• Experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE systems.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and applications.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in Distribution, Logistics, Manufacturing, or Industrial industries performing maintenance on complex systems.

• Experience with conveyors and other material handling equipment (MHE), including controls and robotics.

• Ability to troubleshoot basic input and output functions of building operations.

• Experience with CMMS.

• Continuous improvement mindset and willingness to learn and grow.

• Experience with MHE safety standards in accordance with OEM and Safety standards.

• Associates or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field.

• 2+ years of apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field.

• Experience working with PLC-based control systems.

• Experience with robotic operation and maintenance.

Work Environment

Work in a large distribution facility equipped with high-speed automation and robotic components. Be prepared to walk 10,000 steps per day and handle weights of up to 49 lbs. Candidates must be open to working any 10-hour shift, with positions available for all shifts. Performance will be tracked by data and numbers to ensure expectations are met, though there is no micromanagement.

This is a Permanent position based out of Mesa, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.50 - $32.50/hr.
