And it’s your chance to really shine and contribute to one of the world’s most recognized brands and a beacon for engineering excellence.**Position Summary:**As a Journeyman Tool and Die Maker, you will plan and make bench layouts, fabricate and repair a wide variety of tooling; holding extremely close tolerances.**What you will be doing:*** Plan and make bench layouts of a variety of tools, gages, dies, jigs, fixtures, special machine parts and attachments, etc. holding extremely close tolerances* Perform first-article, in-process, and final dimension inspections* Load, execute, modify, write, and troubleshoot CMM programs* Perform routine calibration checks and preventative maintenance on CMM probes and tools* Use a variety of precision measuring instruments and equipment such as sine bars, height gauges, gate blocks, indicators, micrometers, standard gauges, etc.* Work from blueprints, sketches, 3-D models, verbal and written instructions* Handle parts manually or with the aid of material handling equipment**Basic Requirements:*** High School Diploma or GED (General Educational Development)* Must have completed a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training 8 years of experience to qualify as a Journeyman Tool & Die Maker* In order to be eligible for consideration, you must be a U.S. Citizen**Preferred Requirements:*** Training and experience in the fabrication of tooling and the set up and operation of tool room machines with knowledge of blueprint reading and shop math, including trigonometry and GD&T principles **Mental & Physical Requirements:*** Must be able to lift up to 30lbsOur vision is to ensure that the quality and dynamism that shaped our history continues into our future.
