Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will assess, plan, and implement personalized therapy programs to help individuals of all ages improve their daily functioning and quality of life. Whether working in inpatient settings, outpatient clinics, schools, or home health environments, you will play a vital role in promoting independence and facilitating recovery through expert therapeutic interventions. Your expertise will support patients across diverse populations, geriatrics, individuals with disabilities, and those recovering from acute or post-acute care episodes.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients’ physical, cognitive, and emotional needs to develop tailored treatment plans.

Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility to foster independence.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans and discharge strategies that ensure seamless patient transitions across care settings.

Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for a variety of conditions including autism spectrum disorder, neurological impairments, musculoskeletal injuries, and post-surgical recovery.

Provide education and training to patients and their families on therapy techniques, adaptive equipment use, and safety measures.

Document patient progress accurately in medical records while adhering to healthcare regulations and standards.

Engage in case management activities to monitor patient outcomes and adjust treatment plans as needed for optimal results.

Skills

Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and functional assessment techniques.

Experience assisting with ADLs and discharge planning for diverse patient populations.

Skilled in working with individuals with autism, disabilities, geriatrics, pediatrics, and those in acute care or ICU settings.

Proficiency in developing comprehensive care plans tailored to individual needs across inpatient, outpatient, skilled nursing facilities, home health, or school environments.

Excellent case management skills with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary services effectively.

Familiarity with early intervention programs and occupational health practices.

Ability to communicate clearly with patients of all ages and backgrounds while demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
