Opportunity Summary

Join a precision manufacturing team that produces close-tolerance parts and instruments , where skilled machining directly drives product quality. This is a permanent, full-time role for an experienced Machinist who wants hands-on variety across mills, boring mills, lathes, and drill presses. You'll work an early day shift, Monday through Friday , so your evenings and weekends stay free.
Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate milling machines, boring mills, engine lathes, tracer lathes, and drill presses to meet close tolerance and finish requirements.
• Read drawings, specifications, and process plans, and verify every part with micrometers, calipers, gauges, indicators, and Vernier instruments.
• Select speeds, feeds, operational sequences, and tooling for turning, boring, reaming, facing, and threading operations.
• Run at least 3 production jobs across 2 machining centers with minimal supervision, completing trim, cut-out, and cut-off work with minimal rework.
• Grind tools, spin blocks, rollers, and rings, and keep your work area clean, organized, and compliant with all PPE requirements.

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or GED, plus 5+ years of machining experience with working knowledge of shop mathematics and shop practices
• Valid OSHA forklift license and 1C and 3A hoisting licenses
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and work in environments with noise, heat, or dust
