Physical Therapist - Neuro & Ortho IP & OP - OP/IP

Position Overview This is a part‑time position (48 hours/2 weeks) (Mon‑Fri) at Scripps Mercy Hospital in Hillcrest. Outpatient and inpatient work with neuro and orthopedic patients, with a primary focus on neuro care. Bonus eligible. Responsibilities You will be treating a combination of neuro and ortho patients in the outpatient setting. Requires training for inpatient care and will float there if the outpatient schedule is not filled. Patients may present post‑CVA (stroke), neurodegenerative diseases, complex trauma and traumatic brain injuries, and post‑surgical ortho cases including joint pain and overuse injuries. The Physical Therapist conducts evaluations, assessments, prognoses, treatments, and education as prescribed by a qualified medical practitioner, in compliance with the Physical Therapy Practice Act and Title 16 regulations. Benefits Retention Incentive: $2K New Hire Retention Incentive – 30% at 3 months and 70% at 12 months. Eligibility Exclusions: Internal candidates and rehires that left Scripps less than 3 years ago are not eligible for the retention incentive. Retention Incentive Eligibility Requirements: Must remain in the original hired FTE status and shift (if specified in the offer letter). Must remain in the original department/specialty. Must remain in the original job title.
