Shared must-haves (both roles):
Heavy data/BI background - this group lives in data and analytics work daily
- Cloud development experience with Kubernetes-based pipeline deployment
- Independent worker - self-driven, minimal hand-holding required (this is a hard requirement, not a nice-to-have)
Role A - Data Engineering / AI productionizing the codebase
Core data engineering: designs and builds production-grade data pipelines
- Owns taking AI tooling from prototype to production - productionizing AI capabilities for the broader team, not just building POCs
Role B - Data App Engineering (LLM Apps)
Builds LLM-powered applications in Python using harness/agent-engineering patterns, and shares learnings back with the team
- Strong data-app development background preferred - someone who's built data-facing applications, not pure backend
