Description:
- Prepare and present cold appetizers, salads, fruit displays, seafood displays, charcuterie boards, cheese displays, and dessert garnishes.
- Prepare hors d'oeuvres and cocktail hour items according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Assist with banquet production and event preparation.
- Ensure all food is prepared safely and in compliance with ServSafe standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Garde Manger station.
- Rotate and label products using FIFO procedures.
- Assist with inventory, stocking, and receiving deliveries.
- Work closely with the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs to ensure timely event execution.
- Maintain the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
- Previous Garde Manger, pantry, or banquet experience preferred.
- Knowledge of knife skills and food presentation.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
