Role Overview Responsible for managing store employees and ensuring effective execution of store operations, including ordering, receiving, stocking, merchandising, staffing, and customer service. Key Responsibilities Recruit, train, evaluate, and retain qualified staff in compliance with labor laws and company policies. Provide performance feedback, conduct evaluations, and manage employee advancement and disciplinary actions. Maintain appropriate staffing levels, open and close the store, and ensure operational efficiency. Analyze sales and expense data to identify trends, control costs, and optimize inventory. Oversee merchandise presentation, inventory accuracy, and safety protocols. Ensure excellent customer service, store cleanliness, and a secure shopping environment. Adhere to policies on cash handling, security, and documentation. Qualifications & Skills Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of inventory management, merchandising, and cash handling procedures. Ability to interpret manuals, perform math calculations, and operate cash registers. Experience in retail management preferred; high school diploma or equivalent recommended. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly and up to 55 pounds occasionally; frequent standing, walking, bending, and climbing. Effective problem-solving skills and ability to handle diverse situations. Preference for bilingual Spanish speakers at some locations.
