We're committed to bringing compassionate and dedicated individuals to help us continue to provide the best services to our community.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:Licensed Practical Nurse licensed in the State of Tennessee – requirement2+ Years' Experience working in the Behavioral Health field – requirementOrganized with a strong attention to detail; able to multi-task and prioritize workEstablish and maintain positive working relationships with all clients, AHS employees and community you interact with as an AHS employee.General Function:The person in this position provides basic supervision to mentally ill persons in a group home setting. Monitors and assists in the daily living activities of residents. Monitors and makes written documentation of residents' behavior. Reports all appropriate information of residents' daily interactions to group home manager. Help with the overall daily care of residents including cooking, shopping, personal grooming and hygiene and housekeeping. Provides direct services to clients of the Center's Supportive Residential Facilities.Key Job Responsibilities:Assess the needs and problems of individual clientsParticipate in the development of treatment and housing plans for clients, including making recommendations and evaluating the progress as it developsProvide individual and group psychosocial trainingComplete a mental status examEvaluate the effectiveness of medication in managing the symptoms of the clientAdverse effects, reactions, drug-drug interactions, drug to food interactions and drug disease interactionsImmediately alert proscribing professional of any serious reactions or interactionsSupervise residents in the self-administration of medication(s)Administer intramuscular medicinesComplete documentation following medication administrationEducate client(s) about their mental illness, how medications act, importance of complying and coping with adverse effects/reactions/interactions with the medicationMonitor the frequency which the client needs to see the prescribing professional and schedule the client accordinglyParticipate in discharge planningComplete chart information and documentation within required Center time framesObserve, monitor and assist on site when neededBackup and assist house manager in planning and conducting any recreational activities provided for the residentsPerforms other duties as requestedEOE M/V/F/HAlliance Healthcare Service is an equal opportunity employer.
