Our organization is currently looking for a Board Eligible/Board Certified Cardiologist with a specialization in Cardiac Electrophysiology to become a part of our dynamic team at the Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka, Indiana . Collaboration with fellow physicians and staff within our Cardiology service line is crucial to ensure the delivery of top-notch patient care.

• Work in a highly regarded and successful single-hospital setting with no travel required.
• Engage in an academic atmosphere with an active family medicine residency program, offering teaching opportunities for residents.
• Enjoy an employed position through our health system at Midwest Cardiology, where physician autonomy is encouraged, allowing for independent decision-making regarding policies and recruitment.
• Access to a state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization lab and electrophysiology labs located on the same floor, just a minute's walk from the clinic.
• Utilize a hybrid lab designed for structural heart procedures.
• Receive strong support from senior cardiologists, including those in the interventional cardiology program.
• Participate in an active cardio-thoracic program with 24/7 coverage available for your procedures.
• Clinic hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a general cardiology call rotation of 1:6.
• Average outpatient clinic volume is 18 to 20 patients daily.
• Benefit from excellent electrophysiology volume, joining a collegial team with a substantial patient base that refers exclusively to in-house electrophysiologists.
• Support from nurse practitioners for both inpatient and outpatient care.
• Additional nursing and medical assistant support available at the clinic.
• Access to advanced labs, including:
  • Biosense Webster Cartosound Mapping system integrated with a GE recording system, enabling cryoballoon ablations.

• Permanent Pacemaker implants
• Pacemaker Lead extractions (preferred but not mandatory)
• Leadless Pacemaker implants
• ICD & CRT-D implants
• Ablations for Atrial Fibrillation, Atrial Flutter, SVT, and VT Cryoablation
• Convergent procedures in partnership with cardiovascular surgeons.
• Involvement in Structural Heart Procedures, including participation in the active Watchman left atrial appendage closure program alongside structural heart interventional cardiologists.
