Commercial Roofing Installer – Commercial ConstructionYou will serve as a vital member of our field construction crew, executing high-quality exterior sheet metal installations across commercial and industrial projects. You will work in a supportive, safety-first environment that respects your skills and values long-term career growth.How You Will Make an ImpactInstall complex sheet metal roofing systems, wall panels, trim, flashing, and gutter components according to precise manufacturer requirements.Interpret architectural blueprints, shop drawings, and layout specifications to guarantee exact material placement on-site.Measure, cut, bend, and fabricate customized sheet metal pieces utilizing specialized hand tools and power equipment.Operate aerial lifts, forklifts, and telehandlers safely to manage materials and execute work at variable heights.Collaborate closely with project managers and crew foremen to maintain strict jobsite efficiency and scheduling timelines.Uphold rigid safety standards by complying with OSHA regulations, fall protection mandates, and company safety policies.Inspect finished installations to verify weatherproofing, proper fastening, and alignment meet strict quality assurance benchmarks.Mentor and train junior crew members on specialized installation techniques, tool safety, and field best practices.Required Qualifications & ExperienceHands-on field experience specifically within sheet metal roofing, siding installation, or commercial exterior construction.Proven ability to read, interpret, and translate detailed construction drawings and layout plans into field execution.Proficiency in utilizing hand tools, power tools, and specialized shop fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.Strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to collaborate productively within a fast-paced team environment.High physical stamina required to lift heavy materials, climb ladders, navigate scaffolding, and work in diverse weather conditions.Preferred Qualifications & ExperienceActive OSHA safety certification, aerial lift certification, forklift operation certification, and certified fall protection training.Demonstrated track record of troubleshooting installation challenges and adjusting layouts dynamically to match changing field conditions.Experience sharing trade knowledge, coaching apprentices, or leading small task groups on a construction site.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive hourly pay ranging from $23 to $35 determined by depth of experience.Employer-sponsored health insurance coverage matching 50% of premium costs.Robust 401K retirement savings plan paired with a company matching contribution.Performance-based incentive bonus structure designed to reward high-quality workmanship and efficiency.Dependable year-round work schedules within a stable, family-focused organization.About UsKroes Northwest is a family-focused general contractor specializing in commercial and industrial construction throughout the region.
