The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for driving new business growth through targeted prospecting, consultative selling, and closing new contracted customers, primarily in the restaurant sector. This hunter role is 100% focused on acquiring new customers. Once new accounts are secured and onboarded, they are transitioned to the service team, allowing you to stay focused on generating new business.

The territory: Brooklyn, NY and Staten Island, NY (New York, NY area)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Identify and target new business within an assigned exclusive territory using a consultative sales approach
• Prospect daily through cold calls, in-person visits, networking, and referrals
• Build relationships with decision-makers including owners, operators, and facility managers
• Deliver in-person and virtual sales presentations with strong product and service knowledge
• Track pipeline, activities, and customer interactions accurately and consistently in CRM (Salesforce)
• Maintain marketplace visibility through networking, professional events, and customer-facing activities
• Partner with leadership, operations, and support teams to support onboarding, implementation, and customer satisfaction
• Meet or exceed quarterly revenue goals and required sales activity metrics

Requirements:

• 2+ years experience in a hunter, quota-driven, outside sales, new business development role
• Sales experience in the linen service, uniform service, or commercial laundry industry is a plus!
• Consistent record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
• Experience delivering client-focused, consultative solutions in a competitive, contract-based environment
• Strong listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Highly self-motivated and comfortable working independently in the field
• Experience using a CRM is preferred
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Benefits:

• Competitive base salary $65-75k (negotiable dependent on experience)
• Uncapped commission plan! Expected commission earnings is at least $35k annually.
