Mechanical Engineer

Metric Bio has partnered with an early stage medical device company developing a first-of-its-kind cardiac mapping platform designed to transform how atrial fibrillation is visualised and treated. Their technology gives electrophysiologists unprecedented spatial resolution and sample density to see AF in a way that simply hasn't been possible before. They are building their core R&D team and this is a foundational engineering hire. We are looking to hire a Mechanical Engineer on behalf of our partner to join the R&D team and play a central role in the design, development, and iteration of a novel intracardiac mapping catheter. You'll work closely with a small, highly experienced team where your contributions will have direct and visible impact on the product. You must have: 3+ years of mechanical engineering experience in medical device development Hands-on catheter design experience (this is essential, not a nice to have) Proficiency in 3D CAD design (SolidWorks preferred) Experience with design controls, design verification and validation Familiarity with FDA design and development requirements and quality management systems Comfort working in a resource-constrained early stage environment where you own your domain end to end #J-18808-Ljbffr Metric Bio
