Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity working with students in need of specialized support and guidance. Two immediate positions are available for certified Special Education Teachers eager to make a meaningful difference in students’ academic journeys.

Available Openings:

• Self-Contained / PRTF Classroom: Engage with students in grades 6-12 (8–10 students per class, in-person only). Support learners in a therapeutic environment focused on intensive intervention and tailored instruction.
• Elementary Resource Classroom: Empower students in grades 3-5 (12–15 students per group), providing resource support and designing individualized lesson strategies within an inclusive setting.

Both roles provide the chance to create an impact through compassionate teaching and collaboration with other educators and support staff. The contract begins immediately and runs through June 11, 2027. Each position features a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, allowing you to build lasting relationships and witness student growth firsthand.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Special Education Teacher certification (state-specific or eligible for reciprocity)
• Experience working with self-contained classrooms or as an elementary resource teacher preferred
• Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs), progress monitoring, and data-driven instruction
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
• Dedication to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized instruction based on students’ IEPs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address both academic and behavioral needs
• Monitor, document, and report student progress to families and staff
• Adapt curriculum to meet diverse learning objectives and encourage student independence
