Sterile Processing - Sterile Processing Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Sterile Processing Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid Hours per Shift: 8 hours (15:00 - 23:30) Experience: 2 years required; first-time travelers accepted with proficiency/strong skills in cardiac/ortho/neuro tray assembly License: Either CBSPD or IAHCSMM required Certifications: BLS preferred Must-Have: Proficient experience in tray assembly for cardiac, ortho, and neuro cases is required. Description: This position is for a Sterile Processing Tech II working evening shifts. A minimum of 2 years of experience is required. Candidates with strong skills in cardiac, orthopedic, and neuro tray assembly are encouraged to apply. The role may require floating within specialty areas as needed. Weekend shifts are part of the block scheduling, with every Sunday required. On-call shifts are not part of this role. Candidates should be comfortable working with various equipment including SPM and Steris V-Pro sterilizers. Experience in acute hospital settings is preferred. Candidates must possess either CBSPD or IAHCSMM certification. BLS certification is preferred but not required. Compliance with vaccination policies will be expected.
