Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical, conversion-focused Email Designer to join our core centralized Design & Creative collective in a full-time remote capacity across the United States. In this high-leverage and fast-moving visual development seat, you will step up to claim individual operational accountability for owning the visual layout, typographic hierarchy, and messaging flow of our clients’ email campaigns. Shifting completely away from traditional slow brand consulting or passive image modifications, you will act as a principal performance designer—understanding that true creative success is calculated through customer engagement clicks, open rates, and direct revenue impact. This position requires an e-commerce design veteran who shapes visually compelling layouts fluidly natively using Adobe Photoshop and Figma, builds accompanying SMS creatives smoothly, and coordinates in lockstep with copywriters, strategists, and multi-channel marketing leads.

Key Responsibilities

• High-Conversion Email Asset Curation: Concept, sketch, and design visually compelling, on-brand email layouts for a diverse variety of clients and consumer industries natively utilizing Graphic Design principles.
• Performance marketing Optimization Triage: Structure strategic content hierarchies, image layouts, and user conversion paths engineered to systematically lift user engagement, click-through rates (CTR), and downstream transaction revenue.
• Cross-Functional Narrative Integration: Collaborate peer-to-peer with email copywriters and growth strategists to translate abstract client campaign briefs into seamless, high-impact blends of text and custom imagery.
• Multi-Channel SMS Asset Assembly: Design complementary, low-friction SMS graphic sends and mobile promotional visuals engineered to accompany and reinforce active multi-tier Email Marketing programs.
• Rigorous Pre-Launch Quality Assurance: Review and audit all creative deliverables and asset links prior to routing them through internal executive reviews, preventing layout bugs or branding drift.
• Trend Research and Visual Advancement: Stay continuously updated on global digital design benchmarks, email deliverability layout updates, color theory applications, and evolving consumer graphic trends to elevate files beyond generic templates.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Verified professional history running commercial graphic design, direct-to-consumer (DTC) e-commerce marketing design, asset building for digital agencies, or newsletter performance optimization consulting.
• Deep, authoritative command of core design principles, structural typography selection, advanced layout composition, and high-conversion user user journey mechanics.
• Expert-tier background editing high-yield visual layers, refining product presentation slices, and managing project canvases natively utilizing Graphic Design toolsets (specifically requiring advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, with Figma experience considered a strong asset).
• Practical operational familiarity organizing content streams, balancing text-to-image ratios, and targeting distinct consumer brackets natively using Email Marketing performance frameworks.
• Proven portfolio showcasing a deep track record of real-world commercial email designs, displaying an eye for lighting, composition, and brand polish.
• Outstanding verbal, written, and visual communication attributes in fluent English, enabling absolute confidence when managing fast-paced project revisions independently across remote frameworks.
• Location Context: Position open exclusively to qualified graphic designers based permanently and resident within the United States to operate under a 100% remote home-office layout.
