Position Summary: The Guidance Counselor will be responsible for academic and personal counseling for grades 9 through 12. The counselor is a member of the Guidance Team and is supervised by the Director of CSC.


Key Skills/Attributes:

• Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, parents and community members.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with academic and personal counseling
• Knowledge of Naviance
• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of school law.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Master's degree in Counseling
• NJ School Counselor's Certification preferred

A background and fingerprint report will be conducted and submitted to State authorities as required by law for all personnel working within a school environment. Must be willing to undergo Catholic Diocese VIRTUS certification
