Program/Project Engineer

Shift: Days with Hybrid schedule - 3 onsite, 2 remote
Must be a US person for export control work

Primary responsibilities include:
• Lead teams in development of proposals, statements of work and associated cost estimates.
• Serve as the technical point of contact for customers and the program manager.
• Define and implement project scope, objectives, deliverables, prepare schedules and resource forecasting in Microsoft project.
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets using Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics.
• Lead a robust risk management process to identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery.
• Contain scope growth though robust baseline change management. • Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders to provide project updates and address concerns.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes and practices.

YOU MUST HAVE
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as engineering or related field
• Minimum 6 years of experience in project engineering or related roles in the Aerospace industry
• Must be a US person for export control work.

WE VALUE
• Previous experience developing commercial or military avionics systems like Military/Commercial TCAS or ADS-B Transponder
• Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)
• Ability to lead teams to fast, practical solutions using Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Adaptability and flexibility to manage changing project requirements.
• Passion for innovation and continuous learning.
• Willingness to travel to customer and internal Client meetings both domestic and international.
• Advanced degree preferred.
