PharmacistThis position provides comprehensive pharmacy and medication management services. It ensures a consistent level of service in accordance with organizational policies. Direct patient care and services are provided to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, oncology, and obstetric patients. This role requires working rotational shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. There are opportunities for career advancement through tier levels of Pharmacist to Advanced Practice Pharmacist based on experience. Advanced Practice Pharmacists serve as clinical pharmacists for direct clinical pharmacy services for inpatient and outpatient departments. Advanced Practice Pharmacist II is responsible for specialized pharmacy-based clinics and evaluating clinical services to enhance quality of care. Responsibilities include administering policies and procedures and directing programs and activities in alignment with the organization's mission and values. The incumbent serves as the Clinic Manager of Operations at designated clinics and provides technical and administrative supervision to professional and non-professional employees. The organization provides services to a vast area and serves as a referral center. Services include comprehensive inpatient/outpatient emergency care, dental and ophthalmology services, orthopedics, OB/GYN, oral surgery, eye surgery, and urological procedures. Approximately half of the surgeries performed are outpatient or ambulatory surgical procedures. The organization is located in a unique semi-desert landscape with a culturally rich environment. The community includes a diverse mix of different cultural groups, providing a pleasant atmosphere for staff and patients. Medical staff includes specialists across various fields, and nursing staff includes a range of professionals from registered nurses to community health medics. Fingerprinting must be submitted and cleared prior to starting the position.
