Tax Director

Company Information: A well-established investment management firm known for a disciplined approach and a strong, collaborative culture. Job Description: Oversee tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions for the firm’s funds and management company Coordinate with fund administrators and outside tax advisers on allocations, estimates, and filings Prepare tax reconciliations and investor tax estimates Lead year-end tax planning and reporting Serve as a point of contact for investor tax questions in partnership with other internal teams Partner with Investment and Trading teams to improve fund tax efficiency Manage tax audits at the federal and state level Stay current on tax legislation changes relevant to the business Oversee tax filings for a principal’s family office and related charitable entities Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and expense management for the management company Requirements / Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance CPA required 8+ years of tax experience, ideally starting in public accounting before moving in-house at a fund or investment manager Highly commercial and creative thinker, able to develop practical solutions to complex tax matters Strong business partner mindset, using sound judgment in the firm’s best interest rather than a strictly by-the-book approach Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills High level of personal integrity and ethical standards Comfortable in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment with a continuous-improvement mindset #J-18808-Ljbffr
