Stewarding Team Leader

Team Leader – Stewarding Hyatt Place AlUla represents a significant milestone in Hyatt’s expansion across the region and will feature 215 guestrooms, two food and beverage outlets, meeting space, swimming pool and a fitness center appealing to both leisure and business travelers. Your Role As the Team Leader – Stewarding, you’ll be responsible for supervising stewarding operations, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation across all kitchen and F&B back‑of‑house areas, while supporting efficient kitchen operations. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily stewarding activities across all kitchen and F&B outlets Ensure proper cleaning, washing, and sanitation of kitchen utensils, equipment, and service ware Monitor dishwashing operations to maintain hygiene and operational standards Assign tasks and guide stewarding colleagues to ensure efficient workflow Ensure proper handling, storage, and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment Maintain cleanliness and organization of all back‑of‑house and storage areas Coordinate with kitchen and F&B teams to support smooth daily operations Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards Report maintenance issues related to stewarding equipment and follow up on corrective actions Support inventory control of cleaning supplies and stewarding materials Support pre‑opening stewarding setup and operational readiness Qualifications Previous experience in stewarding operations within hotels or large F&B establishments Supervisory or team leadership experience is preferred Strong knowledge of hygiene standards, sanitation procedures, and kitchen operations Ability to manage a fast‑paced and physically demanding environment Strong organizational and coordination skills Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lead and motivate a team Excellent English communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Hyatt Hotels Corporation
