Universal Banker I

Universal Banker I is a cross functional position and will undertake most or all of the following activities:

• Assist with wide variety of customer services, including opening and maintaining deposit and savings accounts, safe deposit boxes and e-banking products.
• Support the teller line by receiving checks and cash for deposit, verifying deposit amounts, and examining checks for endorsement and negotiability, and issues negotiable items; and balances cash drawer within Bank guidelines.
• May balance vault, ATM and process night drop transactions.
• Performs tasks such as preparing official checks, accepting loan payments, redeeming savings bonds, and scanning daily transactions with accuracy.
• Responsibilities may include monitoring and balancing branch reports.
• May assist lending officers with various tasks to include creation of loan files and monitoring to ensure documentation is up-to-date and properly recorded, disbursement of funds and resolution of routine customer issues and inquiries.
• Assist with other duties within the branch as requested or assigned.
• Adheres to and completes all transactions in accordance with bank policies, procedures, and security measures to protect customers and avoid losses or penalties to the bank.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Professionalism
• Excellent customer service skills
• Proficient computer and technological skills
• Demonstrated Teller, CSR and/or Loan Documentation experience (normally requires 5+ years)
