Process Development Engineer
On-Site
Join an innovative manufacturing team developing advanced chemical processing technologies. We're looking for a Process Engineer who enjoys working on the plant floor, solving real-world production challenges, and improving manufacturing operations from concept through execution.
What You'll Do
- Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, equipment reliability, and process performance
- Investigate operational issues and implement practical engineering solutions
- Support equipment installations, process changes, and production ramp-ups
- Analyze operating data to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Work closely with operators, maintenance, and engineering teams to optimize plant performance
- Create operating procedures, technical documentation, and process standards
- Participate in safety initiatives and ensure engineering projects meet operational requirements
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related technical field
- Experience supporting manufacturing, chemical processing, pilot plants, or industrial operations
- Strong understanding of industrial process equipment, instrumentation, and production systems
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and process-related issues in a hands-on environment
- Experience with process improvement, commissioning, or equipment startups is beneficial
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities evolve quickly
Preferred Experience
- Chemical processing, hydrometallurgy, metals processing, or specialty manufacturing
- PLCs, instrumentation, process controls, or automated production systems
- Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, or other continuous improvement methodologies
