Merck Animal Health seeks a GMP Analytical Scientist to support pharmaceutical development in a New Jersey R&D facility. The role involves method validation, testing of APIs and drug products, and collaboration with project leads to advance candidates through development stages.
Responsibilities
- Execute GMP method validation for APIs, excipients, and formulated drug products
- Support pilot manufacturing testing of materials and cleaning samples
- Collaborate with R&D leads on project needs and timelines
- Maintain documentation, analyze data, and prepare technical reports
- Develop analytical methods for high-priority drug candidates
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or related scientific discipline
- Minimum 1 year pharmaceutical industry experience
- Strong analytical laboratory techniques and technical skills
- GMP environment experience and understanding of GMP processes and SOPs
- Ability to work under laboratory supervisor direction
- Proficiency in chromatography, dissolution, or physical characterization methods
Compensation: $87,300-$137,400 base
