Job Description
Cath Lab RN - Cardiac/Psychiatric Specialty

Schedule
- Shift options:
- 4 × 9-hour days: 07:00-16:30 (36 hrs/week)
- 5 × 8-hour days: 07:45-16:15 (40 hrs/week)
- Call: required; frequency/details TBD based on skill set
- Weekend coverage: call every 4th weekend (per contract)

Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of Cath Lab experience required
- Required: ACLS, BLS, valid state or compact RN license in hand at submission
- Preferred: CCI RCIS
- Charting system: Epic (required)
- Experience in scrub/sterile procedures

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, including PCI and sheath removal.
- Manage EP devices (implant/changes/upgrades) and provide pacemaker/ICD programming support.
- Monitor hemodynamics (Swan-Ganz, temp pacer) and support IABP/Impella procedures.
- Conduct procedural sedation monitoring and administer emergency medications as needed.
- Provide pre/post procedure care and fulfill circulating/scrub responsibilities.

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 36 hours
- Ohio fingerprinting: urgent; candidate must complete fingerprints ASAP after contract signing
- References: 2 professional references required; at least 1 must be a manager/director (charge RN acceptable as second)
- RN submittals must include valid state/compact license at time of submission
