Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Location: Wilson, NC

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 (Night Shift)

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide care in a telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking skills and experience in EKG interpretation, with a focus on adult and geriatric patient populations.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patient health status, particularly cardiac conditions.
• Administer medications and manage treatments in accordance with care plans.
• Coordinate patient admissions and discharges effectively.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Engage in collaborative teamwork with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum 1.5 years of experience in Telemetry or Med/Surg Overflow.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Must have Meditech experience (preferred).
• Associate degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
