Gage Hospitality Group is currently seeking a fun and passionate Host to join Acanto Restaurant + Wine Bar located on Michigan Avenue, steps from Millennium Park. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the restaurants high productivity, quality and customer service standards are maintained.

Host Responsibilities:

• Report directly to the Floor Manager
• Answer phone calls, booking and confirming reservations 
• Warmly greet all guests and thanking guests as they leave
• Escort guests to their table 
• Maintain communication with management team and alert them of possible wait times or guest issues
• Communicate cordially, effectively and clearly

Required Education, Experience and Documentation:

• At least 2 year of experience in a fast-pace, busy, high volume restaurant 
• Ability to fluently speak, write and read in the English language
