Quick Facts Location: 480 East Division Street, Fond du Lac, WI 54935 Start Date: 11/01/2026 End Date: 01/31/2027 (with potential for extension) Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Shift: Day shift, 8 hours per day Hours/Week: 40 hours Employment Type: Contract/Per Diem License/Certs: Medical License in Wisconsin (IMLC accepted), BLS, Chemotherapy Certification (ONS), Bone Marrow Biopsy Certification Experience: 1-3 years in medical oncology preferred Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $507.00 Pay package discussed upon application Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with laws Travel reimbursement (airfare, hotel/lodging, rental car, mileage) Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You ll Do Manage new patient consultations and follow-ups in an outpatient oncology clinic and infusion center Support inpatient rounding alongside APP team and independently manage inpatient caseload Oversee chemotherapy administration, including supervision and orders Handle oncologic emergencies and participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards Collaborate with a team of MDs, APPs, pharmacists, nurses, and radiation therapists Support treatments such as IV/oral chemotherapy, immunotherapy, hormonal therapy, and clinical trials Document patient care in Epic and Aria systems What You Need Medical License in Wisconsin (IMLC accepted) Board Certification in Medical Oncology BLS, Chemotherapy Certification (ONS), Bone Marrow Biopsy Certification 1-3 years of oncology practice experience Strong knowledge of chemotherapy, oncologic emergencies, and multidisciplinary team participation About the Assignment This outpatient medical oncology clinic and infusion center serve patients with a variety of malignancies, including breast, lung, colorectal, prostate, pancreatic, gynecologic, head and neck, melanoma, and other skin cancers. The provider will support both new consults and follow-up care, working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment focused on high-quality patient outcomes. Support staff includes MDs, APPs, an oncology pharmacist, nurse navigator, and radiation therapy onsite. Credentialing is managed per hospital bylaws, with orientation provided through SSM.
