Capital Title Insurance Agency is a highly regarded Title agency in Michigan that sets the standard for serving real estate professionals, lenders, sellers, and buyers. We are committed to performing all necessary functions in-house and in the shortest possible time.
We are currently seeking a Lender Liaison II f or our Traverse City Region .
Major Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Work with lender portals and Closing Disclosure Forms and follow applicable TRID requirements.
- Inform appropriate parties of the closing date set by the lender.
- Ensure funds are receipted and disbursed in file balance.
- Request commitment revisions: revise title work as permitted.
- Assist in creating pre-CDFs.
- Process and complete all documents associated with Buy-Side transactions.
- Prepare all lender documents.
- Review lender closing instructions for critical information; communicate to the closing officer.
Qualifications preferred to be successful in this position:
- Previous experience in the title, mortgage, real estate, banking, or a related transactional/administrative environment is preferred, but not required .
- Familiarity with lender portals, Closing Disclosure Forms, and/or TRID regulations is preferred. Training may be provided for the right candidate.
- Strong attention to detail and accurate data-entry skills.
- Comfortable learning new systems and working with multiple files and deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general computer systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and basic mathematical skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- A willingness to learn, take initiative, and provide excellent customer service.
