Job Description
Occupational Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide essential support in delivering therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. The ideal candidate will assist patients in developing and restoring their functional independence, ensuring that patient care is aligned with state and federal regulations as well as facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy interventions as outlined in the Occupational Therapist's plan of care.
• Accurately and timely document patient progress and outcomes.
• Assist with educating patients and their families about therapy processes and goals.
• Communicate patient status and progress to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active state Occupational Therapy Assistant license (or ability to obtain).
• Strong skills in teamwork and patient care.
