Job Description

Associate Attorney - Criminal Defense

We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join a growing law practice focused on criminal defense, OWI, and traffic matters . The attorney will have the opportunity to handle a diverse caseload and assist clients with a wide range of criminal and traffic-related legal matters.

Responsibilities

Handle criminal, OWI, and traffic defense matters.
Represent clients throughout the legal process.
Conduct legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, prosecutors, and courts.
Develop case strategies and advocate for clients' interests.
Manage multiple cases while maintaining strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Active admission to the applicable state bar.
Strong interest in criminal and traffic defense.
Prior criminal defense experience is preferred but not required.
Excellent written, verbal, analytical, and advocacy skills.
Strong organizational and case-management abilities.
Commitment to providing effective and client-focused legal representation.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $80,000 - $140,000 per year , depending on experience and qualifications.
401(k) / retirement savings plan.
