Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) position in the southeastern region. This assignment involves providing patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with a focus on supporting multiple units through float coverage. The role is scheduled for nights over a 13-week period and requires experience in a similar setting.

Job Details:

• Shift: 12-hour night shift, 07:00 PM 07:30 AM
• Schedule: Nights
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Required Qualifications: Travel experience required EPIC experience required BLS certification required Florida license or compact license required to be on file at time of submission
• Experience Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Surgical Float RN Within the last 12 months, must have completed at least one assignment at a Level 1 trauma facility in a major metropolitan area or an academic medical institution, preferably both
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Location: 400 HEALTH PARK BLVD, SAINT AUGUSTINE, FL 32086
• Position Overview: Seeking strong Medical Surgical RNs to float among Medical Surgical units across the healthcare organization, supporting staffing needs and ensuring quality patient care.

• Interview Process: Unit Manager interviews required
• Compliance & Onboarding Notes: FL AHCA may take up to 14 business days to process from time of receipt
• RTO Policy: NO RTO allowed during the first 2 weeks of any new assignment Maximum of 8 days RTO for a 13-week contract
• Vaccination Policy (Seasonal Influenza): Medical exemptions allowed for the 20252026 season Exemption form must be included with submission If declined, candidate must complete a module Exemption Form: UF Health Vaccine Exemption Request
