Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a Pediatric Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist to provide specialized imaging support in a Level I Trauma Center. The role involves performing advanced cardiac, transplant, and interventional procedures for pediatric and adult patients, ensuring patient safety and image quality.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in the Pediatric Cath Lab, including R/L biopsy, ballooning, stent placement, and valve procedures.
• Assist in complex interventional cases such as EP studies and transplant biopsies, adhering to clinical protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient information within the EPIC charting system.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards, including proper badge management and radiation precautions.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care during procedures.
• Uphold infection control and safety standards, including proper use of protective equipment and adherence to hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold at least 1 year of recent experience in Pediatric or Adult Cath Labs, with neurovascular or interventional experience preferred.
• Possess current certifications including PALS, BLS, and ACLS through AHA.
• Maintain a current state license for radiologic technologists and provide a radiation badge.
• Certification through CCI with RCIS/RCES or ARRT (R) with SCRQSA (R) is preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency in EPIC or other electronic charting systems.
