If you want to help shape a growing airline, we'd like to hear from you.The FP&A Analyst will support Avelo's financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. This is a high-visibility role: you'll work directly with the CEO and CFO and help prepare materials for the Board of Directors. Your analysis will feed straight into the decisions that shape where the airline goes next.Responsibilities:Build and maintain Excel-based financial modelsSupport the annual budget, short-term forecasts, and the 5-year financial plan, including revenue, expense, and cash flow projectionsDevelop and track KPIs that measure business performanceAnalyze budget and forecast variances and share recommendations with senior managementPrepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reportsHelp prepare financial analysis and presentation materials for the Board of DirectorsMeet regularly with the CEO and CFO to walk through results, answer questions, and support key business decisionsPartner with department leaders on budgets, strategic initiatives, and long-term planningComplete ad-hoc analysis and business cases for special projectsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA, CPA, or CFA preferredAdvanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, lookups, pivot tables, and building large models from scratchSolid understanding of accounting and financial planning principlesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with close attention to detailAbility to work independently and dig into complex dataClear written and verbal communication, including presenting to senior leaders and explaining financial results to non-finance audiencesCollaborative approach that fits Avelo's One Crew cultureComfortable with changing priorities in a fast-paced environmentAvelo is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
