MRI Technologist - Travel Job

Job Overview Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Tech to our team to accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images. Responsibilities Interpret physicians’ scanning instructions accurately. Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures. Operate MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images. Qualifications Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification. MRI advanced level certification and state licensure. 2+ years of experience as an MRI Tech. BLS certification. 1+ year(s) of MRI Tech experience performing diagnostic MRI exams independently using established protocols. Experience in patient positioning and computer manipulation. Experience preparing and administering contrast agents according to MRI protocols. Experience ensuring accuracy and completeness of requisitions, PACS, and associated computer system functions. Experience working with neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations. EPIC EMR experience. Assignment Details Shift hours: 1900-0700. Weekend requirements: As needed.
