Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse - $3,150 per week

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Seattle, Washington. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/05/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse in a high-volume, high-risk environment. The role involves providing specialized care during delivery, supporting neonatal services, and functioning as a Baby Nurse until transfer to postpartum care. The position requires expertise in electronic fetal monitoring and managing high acuity obstetric patients. Job Details: Certifications: Required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); Preferred: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate Education Requirements: Valid State License; Compact license must be in hand at submission Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of high-risk obstetric experience; highly preferred with 5 years or more, but candidates with at least 3 years of high-risk experience may be considered Schedule: Days shift; 12-hour shifts; minimum 48 hours per week Responsibilities: Provide postpartum and antepartum care, assist with high-risk deliveries, circulate for cesarean sections, perform neonatal assessments, eye and thigh care, manage medications such as magnesium sulfate and insulin, support breastfeeding and lactation, and monitor fetal and neonatal status with electronic fetal monitoring Additional Information: Candidates must circulate during delivery and care for newborns until transfer, including eye and thigh assessments, and administer Vitamin K injections. Floating to sister facilities supporting Mother/Baby services may be required.
