Caregiver - Memory Care Part-Time

Caregiver - Memory Care Part‑Time Schedule: Sundays & Mondays, 2 pm – 10 pm. Pay: $17.50 – $18.50 per hour. Job Summary: The caregiver assists residents in daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, hygiene, transportation, meal assistance and medication reminders. Duties require maintaining resident dignity, safety and confidentiality, following care plans and responding to emergencies. Essential Duties (includes % of time): Respond promptly to resident needs (50%) Read and follow care plans (10%) Assist with bathing, dressing, hygiene and bowel/bladder functions (20%) Assist at mealtime: selecting meals, serving, eating, clearing room trays (3%) Transport residents and assist with transfers (3%) Perform safety checks (1%) Encourage participation in daily activities (1%) Lead residents in meaningful activities (3%) Clean, complete laundry and assist with community tasks (1%) Manage oxygen tanks and concentrators per MD orders (1%) Chart, document information and incident reports (4%) Respond to alerts via walkie‑talkie and emergencies (3%) Assist in fire and safety drills (1%) Non‑essential Duties: Maintain professional image and attire Encourage teamwork and communicate with co‑workers Manage time to complete assignments per shift Show friendliness toward residents, families and guests Adhere to meal break and rest period policies Perform other duties as assigned by leadership Requirements: 18 years or older with work authorization High‑school diploma or equivalent Preferred: Nursing aide certification Current first aid certification Background clearance Negative TB test within last 6 months (or within 7 days of employment) Preferred prior caregiving experience, though training is available Basic English reading, speaking, following oral/written directions Ability to interact with diverse populations Meet all state regulatory requirements Physical Demands: Mobile; kneel, squat, bend, overhead reach Lift 40 + pounds and push 150 pounds unassisted Benefits (full‑time only): Medical, dental, vision and 401(k) matching up to 4% Childcare and eldercare assistance Flexible spending accounts MBK is an equal opportunity employer.
