Diesel And Truck Service Technician

Up to $80.00 an hour. To support our growth, FORD OF HARVEY is looking to add several experienced/certified diesel and truck service technicians to our great team. If you are tired of where you work, or just want a change to a great environment with a great team - then come see what we have to offer. MUST HAVE FORD CERTIFICATIONS

What You Do:

Conduct repairs, maintenance and inspections on Ford vehicles
Certified diesel mechanic with all around experience
Chassis, brakes, suspension, electrical and engine repair
Inspect vehicles for repairs and service needs using multi-point inspections and test tools
Document and report on items completed and in need of further service via repair order and dealer computer system (electronic repair order experience a plus)
Complete and attend manufacturer training as required

Successful Attributes And Skills:

Your own tools
Valid driver's license, must pass background and substance abuse review
Excellent communication skills and ability to be a team player
Outgoing and friendly personality
Professional appearance
State inspection license preferred

This is a flat rate position and the rate will be determined by your skills, experience and performance
