Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) Wausau, WI. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced trauma level II environment. The RN will be responsible for independently managing patient care across diverse clinical settings, including stroke, cardiology, neuro, pediatrics, and geriatrics, utilizing Epic electronic charting systems.

Job Details

• Position Description: ER RN at a trauma level II emergency department with 18 beds, certified in stroke care, serving a diverse patient population including neuro, cardiac, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The environment is fast-paced, with 3-4 patients per nurse, utilizing Epic charting.
• Required Qualifications: WI RN License, BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS certifications; Associate Degree or Certificate; location in Wisconsin; minimum of 2 years of trauma level II experience or 2 years of trauma I experience; prior travel experience preferred but not required.
• Schedule: Rotating shifts with 12 hours per shift, variable PM/Night shifts (0900-2100, 1000-2200, 1100-2300, 1700-0500), guaranteed 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: No float requirements. On-call possibility with advance notice, with rare callbacks. During flu season, unvaccinated travelers must wear masks at all times. Travelers on the unit are guaranteed set hours per week, with specific policies during holidays and flu season.
• Submission Requirements: Compliance with all credentialing and documentation protocols as needed for assignment.
