Registered Nurse - Medical Intensive Care Unit

Schedule
Day/Night Rotation (7A-7:30P; 7P-7:30A)

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 16 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred
- Active, unencumbered RN license required
- Current BLS/HCP, ACLS, and NIHSS required
- CPI (or equivalent) preferred
- Specialty certification(s) highly desired (CCRN)
- Must pass EKG exam with 80% or better during orientation
- Two (2) or more years of full-time staff RN experience in a Medical ICU at a Level I Trauma Center prior to any travel assignments required
- CRRT experience highly desired

Compliance / Notes
- Compliance must be completed no later than 10 days prior to the contract start date. Failure to meet this requirement will delay the start while the end date remains fixed, resulting in a shortened contract.
- All compliance will be due 10 days before start. If not all submitted 10 days or more before start, the assignment will be pushed 2 weeks or canceled.
- Include a current report for all submissions.
- If RN is not needed on their unit or similar unit, they will be assigned to be a nursing assistant or a safety sitter, and it is expected that they fill that role.
