Front Desk Lead

We’re hiring for a Front Desk Lead position, which, while it may sound straightforward, is designed to be a stepping stone into operations, marketing, and leadership roles within our firm. This is a full-time role in our Westport CT office. The Front Desk Lead will oversee receptionist duties, maintains office facilities, and assists with administrative work as needed. Why Join Us? Growth Potential: Cali, our Director of Operations, began in this role at the end of 2021 after earning a degree in communications. She has since been promoted twice and now serves as second in command at our Westport office. Olivia joined as the Front Desk Lead in October 2024 and has subsequently advanced into the Lead Operations role in our Stamford office. Marli, who currently holds the position, began in January of this year and is now transitioning into an Advisor Development role. Career Advancement: We are looking for someone who has a background in or an interest in marketing and business development. Ideally, this role will serve as a stepping stone, allowing the Front Desk Lead to transition into a marketing/business development role over time. Key responsibilities include: Visitors & Communications: Greet and direct visitors, coordinate security access, and work with building management Answer, screen, and direct calls and voicemails from the general inbox. Maintain the office directory and process mail. Run and distribute daily and monthly reports. Facilities: Maintain and stock the reception, conference rooms, mail/copy room, and kitchen. Manage inventory and order office supplies. Coordinate with service providers for office maintenance. Policy Post Approval Processing: Log and distribute issued policies from Home Office. Administrative Assistance: Provide help with administrative tasks as needed. Required Skills and Qualifications: Excellent customer service and communication skills Effective interpersonal skills.
