Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 2 weekend shifts or 4 weekend days per 6-week schedule | Holidays as needed | No Call

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting during night shift hours
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across varying acuity levels
• Accurately document patient information and care delivery using the EPIC electronic health records system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Adhere to facility policies including scheduling expectations, attendance standards, and float requirements to other campuses as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates accepted)
• Must be able to pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam as required for all RNs regardless of specialty

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Current CPI, PALS, and/or TNCC certifications
• Previous experience as a Charge RN
• Experience in a Level 2 Trauma Center
