Pharmacy Technician (Micro-Fulfillment) — Bolingbrook, IL

Location: Bolingbrook, IL 60440
Schedule: Full-time, overnight shift.  Training: Mon–Thu 4:30 PM–12:30 AM.  Regular shift: Mon–Wed 9:00 PM–7:00 AM  plus either Thu 4:30 PM–2:30 AM  or Sat 2:30 PM–12:30 AM
Pay:  $19.00/hour

Now hiring a  Pharmacy Technician for a high-volume  micro-fulfillment center supporting prescription processing, data entry, and fulfillment. If you’ve worked as a  Pharmacy Technician in retail, mail order, fulfillment, or a distribution environment and you can handle fast-paced accuracy, this role is built for strong performers who want steady hours and consistent workflow.

Responsibilities

• Enter and update patient demographics and prescription information (pharmacy data entry)
• Interpret prescription directions and common SIG codes/medical abbreviations
• Troubleshoot missing prescription details and resolve data entry exceptions
• Support claim reject resolution and third-party billing issue fixes as needed
• Operate automated fulfillment equipment; sort, stage, and move orders through workflow steps
• Count, fill, label, pack, and ship prescriptions with a quality-first mindset
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow HIPAA/PHI handling requirements
• Communicate issues to senior staff and support pharmacist workflows

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Pharmacy Technician experience (2+ years preferred)in fulfillment, retail, mail order, or call-center pharmacy
• Eligible for Pharmacy Technician registration/licensure in Illinois (as applicable)
• Strong keyboarding and basic computer skills (data entry accuracy matters)
• Comfortable with standing, repetitive tasks, and lifting up to 50 lbs as needed
• Reliable attendance and ability to work overnight schedules
• Customer service mindset and attention to detail in a production environment
